Or, more probably, new hardware will add new problems and so on at each renewal point. On NYE I add the opportunity to fire up my first PC (Olivetti M20, 1982)..you won't believe how excited (touched) I was when I heard its first beep and saw the green blinking cursor! Kind of an old friend met after decades.
