Android Question Speech to Text from MP3 file

Is there a way to play or channel MP3 file into the Speech to Text function?

I don't need to merge mp3 files, I need to direct an MP3 file to the Text to Speech converter instead of the voice coming from the microphone, it should come from an mp3 file.

If I understand correctly you want to first "speak" and then play the music file, right?

You can use PhoneEvents to handle the TextToSpeechFinish event and then play the music file.

I need to:

• capture the voice file (preferrably to MP3, but can live with WAV)
• take the voice file and send it to the Speech to Text engine to create text.

The order this happens isn't as important as getting it done.
If you can point me to the phoneevent or any other lib/event that will allow both, I'd appreciate it.

Not with VoiceRecognition object. Maybe with this one: [Chargeable] SpeechRecognizer Library
