iOS Question Spotlight icon

I was able to set app icons by placing icon-40.png, icon-60.png, [email protected], icon-76.png and [email protected] in the Special folder inside the Files folder and I correctly see the app icon on my test device. I can also see the correct icon in the Settings menu.

I don't see the correct icon, anyway, when performing a Spotlight search (I'm testing on an iPhone 6s): I see the standard B4i icon with the blue gradient.
I tried placing a icon-small-40.png and a [email protected] in the same folder, but with no success.

Can you post a screenshot of this? I do see the correct icon in the search page.

This is what I get when performing a search (iOS 10, iPhone 6s). The icon is instead correctly displayed in the home screen and in the settings screen.
I also tried cleaning the project and manually removing the Objects folder and removing and reinstalling the app, but the icon keeps appearing ok everywhere except te search.

The images in the Files/Special folder are:
icon-40.png (40x40)
icon-60.png (60x60)
[email protected] (120x120)
icon-76.png (76x76)
[email protected] (152x152)

Try to restart your device. Maybe it is a caching issue.

If it doesn't work then check this:
- Compile your app.
- Open the Objects folder and look for a file named rc.dat. Open it with 7zip and check the icons inside. Do you see your icons or the default icons?

I forgot to do the simplest thing: restarting the device and try again, ...and it actually solved the problem!
