sql delete function

Hello,

I cant find the correct syntax for deleting a record where "name" field is equals to lblsql.text
i have to use stg like this : sqlfleet.ExecNonQuery("DELETE FROM tbllist WHERE name=lblsql.text")
but of course there is a problem after where , cant figure out the syntax. Can you help me ? TY

WHERE = ' " & lblsql.text & "' ")

corrected it to

WHERE = ' " & lblsql.text & "' ")

It doesnt give any error but also do not clear the records where name field equals to lblsql.text. When i execute the delete command all the records remain altough there are 2 record where name field equals to lblsql.text

Have you tried using a select statement with the same WHERE clause to verify that it is definitely finding those records? Might be a case issue, trailing spaces, or something similar. Or just execute the code in SQL Explorer or whatever you use.
