I have posted a job on Elance (as recommended by our friend Martin) to try and find people capable of handling my tasks - so I don't have to do and learn everything.
One specific task is to upload a record set (db) and have it append to the backend MySQL db (consisting of a few tables). I suggested that I would prefer to send a copy of the (daily) SQLlite db, by whatever means, and have a backend process deal with it. A respondant suggested it would be easier (less work/costly) to send this record set as a XML. OK, how do I do that? I can output to a CSV - but is that "old school"?
Without burdoning anyone, a quick link to a simalar post shall suffice and I shall study from there - then knowing what REAL questions to ask.
