Erel,

I see you use Notepad++, which is an extremely powerful and useful editor.

With B4Alogviewer we almost have a complete new IDE.

Are there plans for a standalone b4a compiler so this could happen?

Regards,
Mike.

Erel,

I don`t want to appear unappreciative of the magnificent work you have done with B4A and the IDe...

I prefer a separate window layout rather than editor, files, libs, modules, log etc windows all in one. It means I can position and size how I like.

Often, I don`t need to see the extra panel on the right, just the editor window. So with separates, I can choose which I have open.

There are a few things in the editor that don`t seem to be operating as expected, which are probably already noted, such as:

Right panel position/size not being saved when closing IDE.

Outlining being lost when compiling, resizing right panel, etc

Sub drop-down menu size becoming too small on odd occasions

Sometimes, text in the editor becomes squashed together, i.e. kerned so close that it is unreadable

When deleting space between end sub and sub... the end sub line becomes corrupted

Some of these may have been addressed in recent updates so I apologise for raising them if they`ve been fixed.

Thanks,
Mike.
