B4R Question store string represented float-type in EEPROM

Hello,
I receive a string representing float-type scale calibration factor i.e. 300.12 from serial stream, I want to store this variable in EEPROM and load it each time device starts. any ideas?

Always better to work with numbers instead of strings. Convert the string to double with:

Dim scale As Double = YourString

Convert it to bytes with ByteConverter and write it with the EEPROM library.
