Store Text File to USB Mass Storage

Hi,
My app is used on tablets. The app should be able to detect if any USB disk is connected on the tablet, if connected I want to store a text file to the USB mass storage. Please help on how to do this.

Do you target a specific device? If yes then you can use File.Exist with the USB path.

Hi,
my intention is to save a text file to a usb flash drive. i can specify the exact folder name and file name on the usb device. So i think what you mean by your answer is to check if the specified file exist on the usb to identify if USB drive is plugged in? I need to know how to refer to a USB drive? do we have drive name same like in computer?

The OS should automatically mount it. Use a file explorer app to find the path.

Yes, sdcards mount to /sdcard, /emmc , /mnt' /media are common folders.
