iOS Question Suggestion die a password protection

Did someone have a short suggestion for making a password protection for my app? I'm not shure, how. Showing a small panel or a hole page? Where to save the users password? I can save it in one of the apps directories with iencryption, but when the user deletes this file with a Desktop-tool, the password is resetet...Thanks for some little ideas....

What exactly are you trying to protect?

With my app, the user is able to connect to our gps-sever with relevant locations. I want to protect the server-data and if one device will be lost, the app should not be startet from an unauthorized User.

The best solution will be to let the server authenticate the user. This way you can delete the user account if a device is lost.

If you want a simple solution that will protect from innocent misuse then you can store the password inside your code.
