iOS Question TabController and showpage

When I use ab tabcontroller for my pages, is it not possible to show a new page in one of my tabpages?
I meen a page, which is not uncluded in my pages of the tabcontrol.

You can set a new list of pages to replace one or more pages. However you cannot combine NavigationController and TabBarController.
