On the android phone I just have landscape and portrait. Each view remains fixed by rotating the device by 180°. On the tablet the views remain readable for a fixed user by 180° rotation of the device, so there are actually four orientations with respect to the phone case. Can I chose those four orientations in b4a?

I am asking because the connectors and push buttons unfortunately :Dare fixed on the case and it would be more confortable to have for example a portrait mode where the usb connector is at the bottom rather than at the top as it comes out by now using b4a designer.

Thanks for an answer, positrom2

orintations choice

I have not researched the protocols as to how to treat orientations, I have just made the decision to set my apps to the orientation that looks the best. I dont know if it is just lazy programming but I feel it is not too much for the user to use at a particular orientation. I work at making apps work on different size devices but I lock them to an orientation. If I was a professional programmer and had all the time resources needed I would make my apps work at all sizes and all orientations. Just a thought.......

It can be more than uncomfortable to have the cable (e.g. usb) hanging out to the wrong side when using the device stationary.
How to define any of the four orientations on the tablet?
