Android Question Take A Picture From A Service

Hi, I was trying to take a picture within a service but it would not work! I tried to do it from an activity and it worked. All I need is to be able to take a picture in the background or with a little popup. Is that possible?

The Camera library will only work with an activity. You can create a transparent activity or a "dialog" activity and start it from the service.
