Android Question Text To Speech Engine

Is there a way programmatically to determine which Text To Speech engine is set as the preferred engine to use on the device? I know how to get a list of the engines installed but not having much luck in finding which one is set.

I want to make sure that the Google Text To Speech engine is being used.
