Hi,

Application reads/write/save from textfiles.ini when run on laptop .. but after I compile and send to my mobile, it does not read/write/save from textfiles.ini. .. pls help. .. thks in advance !

Could you be more precise on what happens or what does not happen, do you get an error message, where is the textfiles.ini stored, is at the same place for both and so on.
Do you have some code that we could test and find out what is wrong.
It's impossible to give you any advice without more information !

I wrote a program and user will pick name from a combobox, and the name will be write and saved to a textfiles.ini which is residing in the same folder, when form close. When user launch program again, it will read the name in the textfiles.ini and load the name in the combobox.. all works okay when test on my laptop before I compile. But after I compile using 'Device(Force QVGA)EXE' and transfered the 3 compile files (.dll, .exe, .exe.config) to my mobile phone, and launch .. user choose name in combobox and close form, the program does not write & saved name in combobox to textfiles.ini.. it juz create the textfiles. Hope I'm clear .. appreciate help.

problem solved .. added a component db2000 functions (device).dll and then add object 'ini'. thks klaus
