Android Question Third Party keyboards not recognizing EnterPressed event

Hello for reasons i will not go into here i am using a third party keyboard
which does not trigger the EnterPressed event.
I have tried
setting the forcedonebutton to true
appending a Chr(13) to the end of customfilter accepted chars string.
and also trying to capture the keypressed event all to no avail.

Any clues out there?
