Android Question Timer restart question

Small question - how to restart the Timer? For example - timer is working and tick every 10000msec, but some times event need to restart the timer and wait tick for full 10000msec?

disable/enable it??
Timer1.Enabled=false Timer1.Enabled=true

or reainitialize it??

Timer1.Initialize("Timer1",10000)
