To many problems with Designer scripts

Trying to understand how it works but always having problems with designer script.

Have a panel, with a background, 3 other panels as childs of this one and a button.

If I send it to cloud, it appears OK in all devices, if I connect Designer to emulator, it displays OK in all layouts...if I compile, the background is not there, and the button has gone to somewhere over the rainbow, where I can't see it

And sometimes it works...It drives, me nuts !!!

I'm getting there. I think that mixing dip and % is not a good idea !!!!

Doing everything with % seems to be doing the trick.

I was so mad that I even did an excel spreadsheet to convert all dip to %.

But it seems much better now.

Only text does not seems to scale properly in some devices. (I'm using autoscale)

This is much more painfull than coding, as coding has some logic, and I still haven't understood the logic of this !!
