Android Question Trapping Virtual Keys

I'm testing with the new Opticon H-27 Android scanner and can capture and read a barcode to/from the clipboard but need a way to trap for the suffix character so I know when a barcode is read.

I want to start with the opticon H27. Is there an example how to program this android barcode terminal with B4a?
I received all kind of librarys in the SDK, http://ftp.opticonusa.com/Downloads/H-27_SDK.zip, but this is only Java.
