Android Question Trying to listen for package installs/uninstalls

I have added this to the manifest:

From what I've read, I need access to the broadcastreceiver method addDataScheme("package") though

You should either add a dynamic receiver or a static receiver. There is no need to add both of them.

You can use PhoneEvents to create a dynamic received for these events. Though a static receiver will work better in this case.
