Trying Vivaldi browser

After many years of using Firefox I decided to try Vivaldi. There was once a nice add-on in Firefox which allowed showing multiple tabs. It was very useful. It is no longer available and Vivaldi does support it.

Anyone using this browser?

1st Problem - says it can import settings from Chrome - No open tabs or Pinned tabs imported - minor irritation - otherwise seems rather nice.

I will compare resources used later and report back. Chrome is resource hungry.

I've added it. Search for bookmark bar in the settings.

Note that you can add B4X search engine to the list of engines. Right click on the search field above and choose Add as search engine.

You can assign a "nickname letter" to this engine and then search by writing b <search term>.

Back to Firefox for me.

The features of Vivaldi are promising, however on my screen the small text was blurred. It took me sometime to realize it.
Might be a display driver issue. I wasn't able to solve it so I'm back home

After getting back to Firefox I found out that there is a new beta feature named SideView that allows showing two pages in the same tab: https://testpilot.firefox.com/experiments/side-view

Not sure why they restricted the side view width but overall it seems to work quite good.

My quick choice, has nice gifs from the logos, this is a very nice feature.

After a month, i can say, it is a good browser but:
-it has 5 processes open in the TaskManager
-3 tabs = round 400-500 MB of RAM
-if my computer crash then, i dont see a button to restore the last session

i like the browser.

After a year, i'm still using it overall. And the new thing is the Android App where you have all bookmarks in sync.
