Android Question Uber-type mapping

Hi all -

I have a new potential client who wants to build an app that will be similar to Uber but have some differentiating things it does. I want to know what I'd be getting myself into, as far as difficulty with the mapping part. Has Google made Google Maps API easy enough to plug into? Or how would you do it?

Try to explain in more details what exactly you want to do.

Don´t say "like app XY". I dont know this app. Explain in detail what your goal is.

Uber has an SDK if you want to use Uber in your App. you need to write a wrapper for this Api.

I can only say so much about functionality because of NDA :-(
But you helped a lot already by telling me there is a tutorial about integrating Google Maps!
