BTW: is the vulnerability in Java or in anything written in Java?

Although this concerns the browser plug-ins, the German site recommends to uninstall Java completely (despite it is used apparently for hijacking by official sites).

Maybe, my PC knows in advance what to do. Although I didn't do anything on the Java installation so far, by sudden, when starting Firefox 18.0, I receive the error message "Error: Java VM not found". It's gone. Strange.......

So, concerning B4A, one probably could live without Java?

Java JDK is required in order to build Android applications.
