Updatefunction in application

Hello!

I have seen, that it is possible to download a new .apk-file and install this with an intent. But is it possible to make an update-button in the application, which should be updated? I mean, that the app is still running, when the update will be started.....

Yes. If you install the same application it will be updated and restarted.
