v6.80 is available in the same link as the previous betas.
The old msi installer was removed and a new one was built with Inno Setup.
I'd be happy to hear your feedback about this installer.
This version is supposed to be exactly the same as the stable version.
Note that the device manual was not updated yet.

The new features are listed here: http://www.b4x.com/forum/announcements/4206-basic4ppc-v6-80-first-beta-released.html

Vista users: Basic4ppc should no more require running as an administrator (except of the installation).

Inno Installer works fine for me with WinXP SP2. Just a comment about the asthetics of the EULA presentation. Inno looks to have messed with your formatting or word-wrapping. If possible, a font size or so smaller may look better too.

I don't know if it is the installer or the way it is set up but I found that changing the default install directory behaves unituitively.

The default, which is where the exe is located is
C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\Basic4ppc Desktop

If I browse to where I want the exe installed which is
C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\Basic4ppc Desktop Beta

I actually get the exe installed into
C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\Basic4ppc Desktop Beta\Basic4ppc Desktop
Note that it still wants to put it in a 'Basic4ppc Desktop' folder which seems wrong to me :( I don't want that extra folder.

EDIT:- I made an error and omitted "Beta" from my required target folder above.
