They are dead simple once you've got a reliable modal mechanism so I think you should include them. I played with a modal library based on your original Msgbox code that had Date, Time, customisable Msgbox, InputBox and Progress dialogs. They were all the modal dialogs I could think of that might be useful, although strictly Progress isn't modal.
