Android Question Wake up the app from service (from background) - exists something like old solution StartActivity(main) ?

Dear friends,

please. I think that it is not possible to wake up Android app (with new versions of android),
but for certain I want ask, please - it si possible or not?

I am using : StartActivity(main)
from service. I know, it is not good solution, it is not functioned with newer Androids. Exists some better solution?
