does anybody know if WinCE will use a registry setting for the desktop wallpaper?
I'm using a SmartQ V7, and although it does allow me to select a picture for the wallpaper, it does not select it on a cold start (although it does remember ones I've used before). I've tried creating 'Wallpaper' values in the Control Panel and Desktop folders, but it doesn't make any difference.
Alternately, will the door library (or another) provide a means of setting it, so I can reset it on startup?

Yes you can get and set the wallpaper path here:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Desktop "wallpaper" (in lower case)

But if the wallpaper was set by a theme so the wallpaper will be not used...

If you reset your device so this value will be replaced by the old value...

You need to shutdown and restart your device for that take it effect..

I hope it's usefull...
