Web history tracking

Hi,

We are trying to develop an app that would log the web activity of a user on the local browser.
Is it possible to retrieve the web history from the local browser, and also is it possible to retrieve the web history from any other browser running on the phone?

Hi Netanel, I was previously wrong. It is not complicated to read the visited Urls. Any application with the READ_HISTORY_BOOKMARKS permission can access it.

Does this include reading the visited Urls from other browsers as well or just the local browser?

The formal API is described here: Browser | Android Developers
All browsers are expected to use the same history storage. I do not know if this is really the case.
