So, I just spent the past 4 days at the track cycling national champs at the new Anna Meares Velodrome, built for the Commonwealth games, watching my son race. He has recovered well from breaking his back in a training accident 9 months ago. Queensland, the "Sunshine State", has rained for 3 weeks continuously so my activities for the next few months are getting some road miles in (= smaller belly) and catching up on lost development time. Uni starts in 2 weeks so I have tutoring, lab work, and getting on top of my thesis. Why is it that everyone's theses are behind schedule, or is it just mine? Son starts his first electrical subject at Uni this semester so I guess I will be his tutor also. Never a dull moment....
