I've go 3 pi2, one used as a Push Server (B4J), one as a media player (very good, BTW). And one in spare...

Pi Model B

I also am waiting on the arrival of a Banana Pro.

Just starting out in the adventures of SoC boards - should be fun. :D

I would love to see wi-fi and bluetooth modules examples using the PI. I have a serial bluetooth breakout board i hope to try it out

Colleague bought one last year to do some testing here.

for me the speed was a big dissapointment but that was when using it as a kind of thin client to connect to an RDS server.

should operate well to controll hardware tho or to act as web/ftp/smb server tho.

it depends on what you want to do.

for what we needed you can get Android devices that are more powerfull for the same price including lan/wifi and usb/vga/hdmi/audio ports.

but I guess it's better for IO things compared to Android+IOIO as there are more extra devices for it (LCD screens, additional IO controller extention cards etc)
