Widgets in locked phone

hi,
I have an idea for an app, and I would like to have a simple widget that touching it opens the app. The problem is that I want the widget also on the lock screen, and opens the app even with the phone locked.

It is not possible to add widgets to the lock screen. There are custom lock screens that allow you to show a normal home widget on the lock screen.
