Hi, All

Who tried to build a wireless network of BT-nodes ? Say, sensors network or similar. Maybe Bluetooth MCUs...
Could you publish any experience moments ?
About software addressing nodes, setting the IDs during manual assembling\setup of the modes batch...

How to organize nodes work, if it needs to allow working 2-3 separate networks in a single shared room ?
How to setup the node ID, if a user must understand and see what are his nodes, and ignore another user's nodes ?

I'm thinking about BLE ESP32 MCUs wireless mesh network(-s), where the batch is:
1) one BLE-USB-receiver in a USB port of PC (COM-port)
2) several BLE-sensors with Li-batteries
3) Host application, reading the sensors data from the USB receiver's COM-port
4) several USB-receivers in several ports of a PC are possible

And several batches should be working in one room...
Any ideas ?

As i can understand, on this system each BLE-receiver should demonstrate all BLE-sensors names to allow user to select his ones.
It means that the sensor names:
  • must be unique
  • must be printed on the sensor case to check
  • must be advertised from the firmware (but MAC-address can be read only after BT is initialized, already with some prepared node name)
