Wiring controls

Hi!
I have just started to inprove a program i wrote some time ago. I am trying to wire 10 text boxes to 1 sub to validate the input but so far have had no luck I am at the moment using the keypress event but this needs 10 subs, can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Have a look at this 7462-control-sender.html#post42527

If you are using the designer, the buttons (or EditTexts in your case) will already be initialized and added to the activity when you call Activity.loadlayout, just use the same event name for them all.

stevel05 .... Thanks for trying, simple mistake I keep getting confused myself.
Klaus ..... Thanks for the reply I looked at Addevent before posting but could not see how it works with TextBoxes the only event is Keypress, can you expand on it a little further?
