[Wish] B4A on Android

I hope I'm not duplicating another thread, if so I am sorry.

I'm not sure how many of you have seen RFO Basic! which is a much simpler Basic environment, or more to the point AIDE which offers a fuller development experience but for Android Java.

What would be really nice to have would be an AIDE-like version of Basic4Android. Even a bit stripped down but "project file compatible" with the desktop B4A might be really nice.

Of course I understand about having finite development resources, etc.


I'm not saying to ignore on-phone development but I'd tend to target Android tablets and desktops where you have more screen real estate.

Anyway, just a wish. Thanks for reading.

I think a version of b4a IDe on an android device shouldn't be too hard to do. Perhaps the debugger could be a challenge, as for compiling, I think a windows web server could easily compile the code and send back the apk file. Even a local network windows box could be used to compile the project.
