It would be great to have the ability to have background processes that stay running when app not in foreground, great for alarms and reminders.

+1. I also think that service feature is the most important now, as without it only interactive programs can be made now, utilities or games.

I would add a vote for this. I wouldn't call it critical considering the early life of this great tool, but yes, it would be important to have.
