Been playing with calling Winbio from java (Winbio = windows hello).
Finally, after a few days got it recognising valid windows users (for the current machine).
Code is still quite messy (and uses C++ for the actual call), but may be useful for some to lock down apps by fingerprint.

Will post the code (when tidied up a bit)

Lucas, you are becoming pedantic, aren't you? Daestrum wrote "the site", if he meant B4X Forum, he would most certainly have been more precise, wouldn't he?

Have you tried to manually encapsulate the code with the appropriate tags? That's the way I do it most of the times

No, I'm not being pedantic, I'm just being playful, as always. Maybe the heat made you touchy.
It wasn't directed at you specifically; I think it was a pretty fitting joke. In fact, it was received the right way:

I'm sorry if you felt offended, @Cableguy, it wasn't my intention (it never is).

Then maybe I am being pedantic, still, and although it was not directed at me, I still feel your comment was out of place, specially since it seems to be a real issue for Daestrum, not being able to post other than text. You know, a joke is only funny to the one who laughs!

If I were smart, I wouldn't answer you, but I'm often stupid, so I do.

I explained it to you, I apologized, and yet you persist, so I have to tell you: do a little soul-searching. It seems to me that just by "working so hard" to spread B4X, you're getting a little carried away, you feel superior.
If I'd made that joke a while ago, you would have just laughed.

End of file.
