and you sell some... what 100 maybe 1000 ?

I have always harbored a sneaky suspicion that if you could just get it out there into everyone's faces you'd get a lot more people to download it and dare I say 'pay for it'

pinterest and twitter

Pinterest is basically for sharing sharing images,All you need a website for your app and add some screenshots for your app and a account on pinterest.
share things with people on pinterest.
Share the image ,there are some big boards on pinterest where you can post your app screenshot ,people repin your image.helps in promoting stuff.

twitter is for text messages and just tweet ur message with keywords and url of your webpage which points to google app store.

when someone search for that keyword on twitter or pinterest your post or pin will come and generates traffic

Allways create a page for your app besides uploading it on google dev.

Add social media icons of FB,twitter ,pinterest and google+ .

Add a nice title and description on that page.

Make sure the page has a professional look.

create a xml sitemap for your website and submit to search engines .

make sure your site does not have dead links.

you can check the website traffic using google analytics.

for that you have to insert javascript code of google analytics on each page of your website in footer.

start monitoring the traffic.

Promote pages use important keywords on page inside the page description of your app .


Why its important

When you dont monitor your pages on the website using google analytics.you will not able to find these

1. website downtime
2. dead links
3. source of traffic
4. many more problems in your website


Social media is very helpful .If you are not using it you are missing lot of traffic.

start with

Just create a website .

Its very easy to create a website using wordpress.

If you are not able to do that you can hire someone at fiverr.com ,will do that for $5.

Not only he will create a website with all your info on it ,he will create the pages also.

Make sure you have all the info about the app and screen shots.

Next step

Create a youtube video for your app.Again you can hire someone to do that.

Add a link back to your website on youtube description.

you can add keywords to the video and add notes.

PS dont forget to add social media apps and youtube video on your website page.
