Android Question A lot of same kind of errors - android.webkit.WebViewClassic

I have a problem with few of my apps. Only apps with AdMob and WebView are affected.
This is error:

Exception java.lang.NullPointerException:
android.webkit.WebViewClassic$PrivateHandler.handleMessage (WebViewClassic.java:7857)
android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage (Handler.java:99)
android.os.Looper.loop (Looper.java:137)
android.app.ActivityThread.main (ActivityThread.java:5473)

java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke (Method.java:525)
com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run (ZygoteInit.java:854)
com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main (ZygoteInit.java:670)
dalvik.system.NativeStart.main (NativeStart.java)

App with about 1.000 active install (without AdMob, but with WebView) have over 200 errors (in firebase analitycs) in last month. All errors are exception, and app force close. How can we prevent this error?
I'm unable to find any recent resource on web, all resources dated few years ago.

EDIT:
Affected devices are with Android SDK versions 16, 17, 18, 19, 21.
I have set min SDK to 16, and target SDK to 22, app is compiled with android.jar from SDK 24, but same error is in previous app versions compiled with android.jar from sdk 22 and sdk 19.

I know that WebView is a problem in all my apps.
I need to prevent error from happening, but how?

Unless you are able to reproduce them then it is difficult to say why they happen and how they can be prevented.
