Android Question A Question about map files

Hey there,

I am trying to add about 500 rows of data into my sqlite database. I have read through the postings in the Load CSV into Sqlite thread and I have a question about map files. Let's say for example my CSV data has the fields FirstName, MiddleName, LastName, City, Province but all I want to send to the Database is FirstName and Lastname. Is this possible to do using the same methodology outlined in that thread?

Also, does SQLite support the append statement?

I take it that you're talking about the following thread https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/load-csv-into-sqlite.9370/#post-51817. I can't see why it not possible.

Append, I've never come across 'Append' in SQLite before. I don't think that it does but I could be incorrect (I'm not 100% sure). Just Google 'SQLite append statement' for the answer.
