AAB means Google going on Apple way >> android apps will be downloaded from google play store ONLY!
APK is freedom to distribute apps.

Do you have a source for that statement?
No, they have not announced any immediate plans to discontinue support for APK files in flavor of AAB.
But I guess that, because of what are advantages/disadvantages of aab?
I don't mentioned advantages, but one major disadvantage is that aab can't installed from outside google play, apk can.
So it is a matter of time to discontinue apk support!

That is my guess.

There is actually a tool in Android SDK to extract an APK from an AAB.
It does give Google more power over the process, especially with the signing key.

With that said the main benefit of AAB packages is that you can include resources for different types of devices and the APK derived from the AAB will include the resources for your device. This is not relevant for B4A as we mostly don't use the resources feature.

Okay. Also, with the AAB we benefit from the small Update download sizes, example an AAB with 15mb can be served to the user 1mb or in even in kb unlike the APK where the user gets full apk size to download.
