B4J Question ABMaterial. Dead or Alive?

I recently discovered ABMaterial and ABMini created by @alwaysbusy

I have many hours invested and it seems like a great solution for a B4Anything web server on Linux. I desire this because I am a recovering Microsoftaholic.

Is Mr. Bailleul still into this? Has anyone (like maybe @OliverA ) taken over?

Are there any code examples -- in one place -- that show how to do essentially everything?

Where and what is "ABMShared" folder/library/thing?

Is there a secret to getting audio in the YouTube videos?

Is there a better alternative for old B4A enthusiasts that are trying to become one with Ubuntu?

ABMaterial is a mature library nowadays that requires very little to no maintenance and is used within our company extensively (together with BANano, my other Web Apps library) for many Web Apps used by thousands of users. It has not been 'taken over' by anyone and is still maintained by me, but it is open sourced for the adventurous ones.

https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/abmaterial-for-dummies-beginner-lessons.88346/#content is a good place to get started. There is no such thing as a 'does everything' example. Most is demonstrated in the Demo source code (for v4.51, not yet updated for 5.00, but still useful to learn ABM): http://gorgeousapps.com/ABMExtras4.51.zip

It's just a normal B4J module, but is not used in ABMini I think. It is however in the Demo app.

What have you already tried and what is not working? It does work on the abmaterial.com site.

Thank you for replying. I want to be clear that I am not complaining about anything. I think what I have seen so far is fantastic. Everything I have tried has eventually worked after I figured out what I was doing wrong.

It looked to me like most of the forum conversation about ABMaterial went away with the masks. I am glad to see you are still out here and active. I have read every forum post. I have been to every page at http://prd.one-two.com/. I have not made it very far in YouTube because of strange audio issue. I was confused until now about BANano's relationship to any of this.

The ABMExtras zip appears to be what I was looking for. In both Chrome and Firefox, I thought that was a dead link because nothing ever downloaded and it took me until a few minutes ago to figure out why. I am amazingly ignorant regarding so many simple things like that.

I will donate what I can, when I can, now that I know it would not just go to to a memorial fund in a trust somewhere.

Forgot to reply on the YouTube audio.

For some reason, YouTube in Chrome is not playing audio. It thinks it is. I am logged in as me to my YouTube Premium, if that matters. Does not play audio in Firefox as nobody either. I basically live in YouTube so I am confident that every other video plays the audio track if present.

I am past that now (ABExtras rescue) but thought you might want to know.

Helping Hand Here (maybe): http://prd.one-two.com:51042/demo/ThemesPage/abmaterial-theme-color.html

Is "like ABMChared" a typo?
