udg Expert Licensed User Longtime User Mar 10, 2023 #1 Hi all, it seems I finally have some spare time and so I'm willing to give a second try to ABMaterial (first one was years ago on an XP machine...). I'd like to hear from you about a good and simple USB webserver to test whatever I will build with ABMaterial on upcoming weeks. Among the others, I found Uniform server. Anyone use it and will recommend it? Then we have the classics: WAMPP, USBWebserver,.. So, which is your favourite and its strongest points? Thanks. ps: yes, I know about BANano too, but let's proceed chronologically..heheh Last edited: Mar 10, 2023

peacemaker Expert Licensed User Longtime User Mar 10, 2023 #2 Thanks, interesting, i did not know that such software bundles for Windows on a single folder (USB drive) exist. Nothing to suggest , excepting "try and comment". Last edited: Mar 10, 2023 Upvote 0

But I can see your point; for start just point your regular browser to the correct localhost URL and get confidence with ABMaterial Upvote 0

I'm not sure but it seems to me you can install MySql even without WAMP, XAMPP, ... Despite this, it is advisable to install one of the two, in my opinion (I have XAMPP and I am satisfied with it).
