Android Question Abstract designer verus standard designer

I'm new to this platform (I currently use NSB/AppStudio). What is the advantage of using abstract designer instead of a standard desginer (drag and drop of real objects)?

The WYSIWYG designer runs on the device and shows you the layout.
I recommend to mostly use the abstract designer to actually set the layout and only use the WYSIWYG designer to see how it looks in this specific device.
