iOS Question Adhoc provisioning profiles

Hi All,

A silly question kinda newbie in nature. I always used just Development and AppStore provisioning profiles. I see an Adhoc type never used it, does this behave like Android to distribiute apps outside of the App Store without having to register each iPhone , itab etc UDID. If thats the case great but just curious.

That is not correct as far as my knowledge goes. The AdHoc can install apps only in the devices contained in the provisioning profile.
