Hello, I connected my iPhone device to Apple Configurator 2 with a cable. In Build settings, "Use Apple Configurator to install" is selected.

When I select Build Release App, I get the error "Error: No devices are booted."

Why does it want to install on the simulator even though "Use Apple Configurator to install" is selected?

A while ago I also experienced this. I don't exactly remember how I fixed it but can you try to leave apple configurator 2 open while working with the device ? Apple configurator sometimes doesn't show the device so I was unplugging and plugging again to make it visible on configurator.
