Android Question Application accesible with screen locked

Hello,
I am working on an SOS application, which should be used in emergency situations.
Is there a way that I can make my app accessible even if screen is locked , let's say phone owner is injured, and someone tries to contact family.

The way I think of it is have a lock screen with Details about the owner and an SOS button.
