M mistermentality Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Apr 8, 2011 #4 The end user has to choose to install an apk, but if its a market app then when downloaded it automatically installs and also if they download it with their web browser when they open the download folder and select the apk file it should also install the apk. You cannot make it download and auto install other than by uploading it to the Android market but most browsers and file explorers will install it automatically when a user clicks on the apk file.
