Fortunately, the AutoCompleteEditText view in B4A works in a different way.

The b4j version depends on ControlsFX Package. the behaviour is probably defined by ControlsFX

I wouldn't use it.

Better options:
- [B4X] [XUI] - MiniSearchView AutoComplete field
- SearchView: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/custom-view-searchview.82007/#content
- B4XSearchTemplate with B4XDialog

All of these will show prefix matches first.
