AVD manager window

I don't know why but...
I note that with version 1.8 my AVD Manager.exe dos window does not close as it used to, it is left on screen after the emulator is running and needs manual closing.
Any thoughts?

I don't think that it is related to the new version. These windows are started by Android SDK.

The AVD Manager has always needed to be closed manually.
