Hello everyone,
after not having touched a PC for seven years, I'm ready to give it a try in my old age, so I bought a laptop. ;-))
Installing and configuring Java, the SDK, and B4A was easy thanks to the excellent instructions. But I can't connect my smartphone either via a USB cable (with USB debugging enabled) or via the B4a bridge. The app on my smartphone shows me my IP address and waits for a connection after starting up. On my notebook, under extras/B4a bridge/connect, my exact phone and my IP address are shown as started. At the bottom of the status bar, I see the two messages '[my smartphone Name] connected' and 'trying to connect' alternating in quick succession. On my smartphone, however, it keeps saying 'waiting for connection'. I have an Asus Zenbook and a Samsung S24+, both newer models. What settings might be wrong on my notebook and/or smartphone? Thank you very much for your help!
Edit: I've tried out also on another smartphone with the same result (exept another IP adress)
